Ways to Wellbeing
Join us to experience a fun afternoon of connection and giving in this inclusive, community event. You will have the opportunity to listen to our inspirational guest speakers, enjoy light refreshments with a glass of bubbles, as well as receive a fabulous Joy of Giving goodie bag.
Our two guest speakers will share their authentic stories based around our theme ‘Ways to Wellbeing’.This is a volunteer-run event with all proceeds raised going to the NZ charities Joy of Giving supports this year.
Raffle available (cash only).
We will also have donation collection boxes for new toiletries and non-perishable pantry items.
Dress code: wear something joyful - something that sparks joy for you!
About our speakers:
JENNIFER ALLEN- Founding Director Soul Support & Jayayoga Studio, Birkenhead
Jennifer dedicates her life's work to helping others to find the space of acceptance, love, and wellbeing inside themselves. As a Yoga Therapist, Meditation Teacher and Wellbeing Coach, she is passionate about educating people on how to support their nervous system, create rituals of self care, and set clear boundaries for living a peaceful and contented life. On a daily basis Jennifer trains yoga teachers in her methodology of Sustainable Yoga, teaches yoga classes to the public, and works individually through her unique Soul Support programmes utilising the powerful practices of yoga, mindfulness, and energetic healing.
STEPH McKEE - Founder Hormonally Fit - Fitness, Nutritition, Hormones
After turning 40 and then having experienced an extremely stressful period of time in her life, Steph McKee a qualified personal trainer found that staying shape became difficult, what had worked in the past for her was no longer working. She quit her teaching job, returned to personal training and up-skilled in hormones and DNA, and discovered that hormones were playing a big part in the picture, not just the sex hormones, but cortisol, insulin, gherlin and leptin. Steph now focusses on helping women simmer their systems down, healing and then building from a strong foundation.
